Yes clean and grease the rear splines every 20K, replace the drive shaft when it shows approx. 50% wear. Make sure the battery is fully charged when starting....

bmwdrtr is correct in his reply. The brakes are designed to drag slightly. The wheel should spin freely with the pads just touching. You hear them dragging....
