Q: What is a battery gauge recalibration event?
A: As you are driving the gauge suddenly drops from near-full to near-empty.
This battery gauge recalibration is not a problem. That's how the car is

battery directly, so it sometimes has to reset to zero, activate charge, and
then
"find" when the battery is full again.
