I bought a new Camry Hybrid 2 weeks ago. When you buy a new car in
New Jersey, you pay for 3 years of registration fees up front. The
dealership called me this morning to tell me that my registration and
license plates had arrived, and that I owe them an additional $100.00
because the salesman charged me for 3 years of registering a "regular"
car and it is more expensive to register a hybrid. Is this true?
It's Saturday, and I can't call the DMV to verify this. Thanks in
advance for any/all replies!
